The cemetery, that covers an area of more than 200 square meters, is located in the most expensive place in Egypt, as it is inside Al-Gezira club in Cairo, near the Egyptian Football Association, next to  Al-Ahly club. It has the remains of the cutest creatures, portraying hundreds of stories in each grave.

The price of membership in Al-Gezira club for the first time reaches 2 million pounds (100 thousand dollars), provided the applicant gets passing a personal interview.

Due to this price, entering the club has become a dream that is not easy; however, the dogs of the club members have got a place to be buried when they die.

An officials in the club's management affirmed that the idea of ‘pet cemetery’ dates back to the era of the English princes during the period of the British occupation of Egypt, as it was just in Europe.

This place was secured to be a pet cemetery a few years after the club was founded in 1882, making it the only club in Egypt that allowed its members to preserve this tradition.
