Liverpool Officially Advance to UEFA Champions League

Liverpool officially qualified for the UEFA Champions League, on Sunday, after Aston Villa lost to Brighton 1-0 as part of the English Premier League's 36th round.

Liverpool managed to secure the third place which a qualifying spot for the prestigious European club tournament with 75 points.

However, the Reds lost their chances to capture the Premier League title. They only managed to return to the Champions League after their last year's absence. 

The competition between Aston Villa, and Tottenham for the capturing the final ticket for the UEFA Champions League is still progressing, especially after both teams lost their latest games. 

Aston Villa are now fourth on the league standings with 67 points.
