The Zayed Award for Human Fraternity convened more than 40 influential international figures at its 2026 annual roundtable in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the theme “A Promise to Future Generations.”
The gathering brought together award honourees, judging committee members, government officials, youth leaders and Yale Peace Fellows from 35 countries to discuss global challenges to human fraternity and cooperation.
The roundtable was chaired by Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, who said the forum reflects the award’s growing international impact across cultures and generations. Senior participants included former European Council President Charles Michel and other current and former global leaders.
Organizers said the discussions underscored the need for ethical leadership, dialogue and solidarity to build a more humane and cooperative future.
