Zamalek SC boss Jaime Pacheco affirmed that his eyes are set on winning the Egyptian Premier League and the CAF Champions League during his current season with the White Knights.
Pacheco stated to Al Nahar channel that since he arrived in Egypt for his second term with Zamalek, he has succeeded in scoring the same number of points achieved by Al Ahly.
Pacheco said: "This season we will reach the Champions League final and be crowned. This is our big goal. I always tell the players I am here because I want to be a champion,"
"This season, we must be the champions of the league. It is not right to be behind Al Ahly by 20 points, since I arrived in Egypt Zamalek have achieved the same number of Al Ahly points in all matches," he added.
"Al Ahly have signed players who are worth millions, specifically (the forward and defender), and we will not sign high-value players, we have only got back some of the players who were loaned, and despite this we are equal in the number of points in the league." he concluded.
