Chairman of Smouha Club Mohamed Farag Amer said that the Alexandria club have signed Zamalek winger Mostafa Fathi on a 6-month loan deal.
Amer added in statements on Saturday that the deal was concluded after short-lived negotiations with White Castle officials.
Amer refused to disclose the value of the deal, but said: "Mostafa Fathi is a strong addition to the team, and I wish him success with Smouha."
Fathi did not participate with Zamalek during the current season 2020/21 Premier league in any match.
