Zamalek to Face Raja on Sep.25, Oct. 2 - Amir Mortada

Zamalek s general supervisor of football on Tuesday said that the White Knights will take on Raja in the semi-finals of CAF Champions League on September 25 in the first leg in Morocco.

In statements, Amir said that the second leg will be at Cairo Stadium on 2nd day of October.

If Zamalek qualify for the final they will face either Al Ahly or Wydad.

In July, CAF announced that the CAF Champions League (CL) semi-finals matches will be played over two leg.

In a statement, football’s governing body in Africa said that the first leg will be held on September 25, and 26 in Casablanca, while the second leg will be held in Cairo on October 2, and 3.

Regarding the final’s venue, CAF put 3 options; if Al Ahly and Zamalek qualify for the final, the match will be held in Cairo.

“If the two Moroccan clubs reach the final the match will be held in Casablanca,” CAF noted.

The third option will be a neutral venue if a team from Egypt clash against a Moroccan club.
