Zamalek Sack Swiss Coach Christian Gross

Zamalek SC President Mortada Mansour announced on Friday, the dismissal of Swiss coach Christian Gross.

Mansour made his comments after the Whites held a 1-1 draw against El-Entag El-Harby in the Egyptian Premier League.

"Gross is responsible for this draw because of his mismanagement to the game," Mansour said. "Khaled Galal will be the next coach," he added.

"I will never forget you Zamalek fans. Thank you Amir Azmi, Ismail Youssef, Ayman Abdel Aziz, Doctor Osama, and all the players," Gross wrote on his official page on Facebook.

After Zamalek's memorable Confederation Cup triumph, the White Knights' president stated that Gross' time with Zamalek is over.

It is worth mentioning that, Galal was appointed last year as an interim coach after the dismissal of Ehab Galal. He managed to lead the Whites to win the 2018 Egypt Cup title after defeating Smouha.
