Zamalek have been crowned Egypt Cup champions in men’s basketball after a commanding 87-68 victory over Telecom Egypt in the final held at Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City.
Zamalek controlled the game from the opening minutes, imposing their rhythm and maintaining the lead across all quarters. The team delivered a consistent performance, with quarter scores reflecting their dominance throughout the contest.
The players showed strong cohesion and efficiency on both ends of the court, with standout performances from Khaled Abdelnasser, Hazem El-Meshed, Ahmed Ismail, Omar Hisham, and Omar Ezzat, who played key roles in securing the title.
The win confirms Zamalek’s superiority in the competition this season, as they outperformed Telecom Egypt in a one-sided final to lift the trophy.
In the third-place match, Al Ittihad Alexandria claimed the bronze medal after defeating Al Ahly 84-77, leaving the latter in fourth place.
