YouTube launched its kids app in Arabic across 15 countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the company announced on Monday.
YouTube Kids is a standalone app which hosts varied contents to help families support their children’s exploration and curiosity.
The app is created for kids under 13, as it provides videos that children enjoy, in addition to offering parents easy-to-use tools so that each family would be able to choose the settings that suit their children.
Moreover, kids can acknowledge new topics, expand their horizons and be entertained through channels and playlists, that organized into categories including Learning & Hobbies, Arts & Crafts, YouTubers & Family Vloggers, Music & Dance, Toys & Play and more.
On his part, Tarek Abdalla, Google’s Regional Marketing Director for the Middle East and North Africa, stated that YouTube Kids helps every family satisfy their children’s curiosity and interests.
Also, Abdalla noted that the YouTube Kids includes entertaining content such as the Arabic version of Sesame Street, Ahlan Simsim, and Emirati production Mansour, as well as educational videos such as El Schoola and Learn with Zakariya.
The YouTube Kids app is now available in Arabic and other languages such as French and English on the Google Play Store.
