Veteran Egyptian actor Yehia El-Fakharany is preparing for a new TV series, which he plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
El Fakharany participated last Ramadan with the TV adaptation of Ibrahim Abdel Meguim's novel "Eatabat Al Bahga".
It is scripted by Medhat El Adl, directed by Magdy Abu Emeira, and produced by El Adl Group.
"Eatabat Al Bahga" witnessed El-Fakharany's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence.
El-Fakharany, born on April 7, 1945, is an Egyptian actor and former doctor.
He studied at the faculty of medicine and earned a pediatrician degree, however, he did not work as a doctor but rather began a career in acting, something he is quite passionate about.
El-Fakharany, who rose to fame in the 1960s, is known among his fans for his pleasant laugh and friendly nature.
The acclaimed actor took part in over 117 films, television series, and theatrical production.
He is married to Lamis Gaber and has two children: the director Shady El-Fakharany and Tarek El-Fakharany.
