Early Sunday, WWE presented the first night of WrestleMania 39 which was headlined for the first time in history by a tag team match.

The night’s lineup included John Cena, Charlotte Flair, Rey Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, the Usos, and others.

It was previously announced that The Miz would take the responsibility of hosting WrestleMania 39. So, he opened the show with WWE Hall of Famer and famous star Snoop Dogg.

The stage of the event was incredible as it was influenced by the theme of Hollywood and Los Angeles. In addition, there were different booths for fans to get merch.

In the same context, a number of videos were aired for fans who celebrated the event and watched it in different parts of the world such as Australia (the home of Rhea Ripley) and England.

The US title match opened the show as the champion Austin Theory stepped into the ring, followed by WWE Make a Wish star John Cena who entered with some of Make a Wish initiative’s children.

In a quite short match, Cena and Theory presented a fine performance, with more dominance of Austin Theory.

The match set controversy among fans on social media as part of them liked the match and considered it a decent representation of Theory, and a logical end. It also may tease another contest between them.

On the other hand, part of fans considers the match is lower than they expected when Cena, and the future equivalent of Cena be in the same ring.

After that comes the Fatal 4-way tag team showcase match. It was also a short fun match, although the majority of fans criticized the booking of such a match for a major event such as WrestleMania.

The 8-men did a great job in representing themselves, and it was also fun of nice spots.

Here comes a highly anticipated contest between Seth Rollins and Logan Paul. Paul has an impressive entrance as he used the wire-like Shawn Michaels in the match and he set an interaction with the fans during coming to the ring.

On the other hand, Rollins had one of his best WrestleMania entrances amid high cheering from the fans who sang his theme song.

The match was very good, as Paul managed to counter different moves of Rollins, and did enthusiastic spots, including an impressive moonsault.

Rollins' victory is the first WrestleMania victory in four years.

After that comes the six-woman tag team match between Lita, Becky Lynch, and Trish Stratus against Damage CTRL.

It was a disappointing match, and full of botches. In addition, Lita hesitated at different times before executing any spot.

The final part of the match was the most appreciated thing of it and it was carried by Lynch and Bailey.

Next came one of the most impressive matches of the night between Rey Mysterio, who was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and his son Dominik. It is the second time in history that a father met his son in a WrestleMania match.

It was very good in terms of storytelling as Dominik stepped inside the ring with a paddywagon in handcuffs wearing one of Rey's masks, while Rey was driven out in a low-rider by Snoop Dogg with LWO tribute.

The match was really enjoyable and impressive, and the narration between Dominik and Rey was perfectly scripted.

The presence of the neo-LWO members (Legado del Fantasma) stopped the interference of the Judgment’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest.

Dominik tried to use Priest’s chain but he was stopped by Bad Bunny who was at the commentary table. This move explained by fans that Priest and Bad Bunny would have a feud in the near future as both are Puerto Rican stars. Puerto Rico will host the upcoming WWE PPV, Backlash.

The victory of Rey was praised by fans as it could be an extra tribute to Mysterio after being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Then comes the best women’s matches in many many years. Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley for the SmackDown Women’s champion.

It was a brutal match that full of determination and dignity of both stars. They presented a rich collection and counters of their set moves, including a painful German Suplex by Ripley.

They kicked out of each other's finishers. Ripley managed to hit the Riptide from the middle rope to beat Charlotte.

After the match, it seemed that Charlotte was really proud and happy with her performance with Ripley who became a Grandslam star after capturing the blue brand women’s title.

Then, there was a funny interlude between The Miz and Pat McAfee that ended in an entertaining match.

Finally comes the main event. For the first time in history, WrestleMania is headlined by a tag team match, and a Muslim athlete.

It seems that Samy Zayn, and Kevin Owens paid a tribute to their PWG history, and how they started their career in a 100-seat hall, to main-eventing WrestleMania.

The match was slow in tempo in the first half, before turning to be massively entertaining towards the end. The use of the Helluva Kick was great by both Zayn and Jay Uso.

It was a great moment of Zayn and Owens and their friendship.
