World Bank: Egypt to Lead Economic Growth in Middle East, North Africa Until 2025

The World Bank (WB) forecast the Egyptian economy to lead the growth of the economies of the Middle East and North Africa region, with a growth of 4% during the current fiscal year, to continue its progress over the countries of the region until 2025.

According to a World Bank report on global economic growth prospects, the economic growth rate in Egypt will record 4% in 2024, increasing to 4.7% in 2025.

The bank expects the Saudi economy to grow by 2.2% in 2023, 3.3% in 2024, and 2.5% the following year.

As for the economy of the Middle East and North Africa, the bank expected it to grow by 2.2% in 2023, 3.3% in 2024, and 3% in 2025.
