Ten-man Manchester City lost a two-goal lead as they were crashed to a 3-2 defeat by Wolves on Friday in the Premier League.

Raheem Sterling had given Man City the lead after only twenty-six minutes when he converted from a penalty spot, which was first saved by Rui Patrício but he slotted the rebound into the empty net.

City's Brazilian keeper Ederson was shown the red card in the 12th minute after he raced out of his area and clipped Diogo Jota, who tumbled to the floor.

After the break, Sterling doubled his side's lead in the 50th minute with a composed finish.

Four minutes later, Traore revived Wolves' hope in the game when he picked the ball up just outside the box and drove at goal before hammering home across Bravo and into the far corner.

Jimenez netted the equalizer for the hosts when Traore zipped a low cross into the six-yard box for Jimenez to tap home.

The dramatic winner came in the 89th minute when Matt Doherty weaved his way through the City defense before unleashing a left-foot shot past Bravo.

Manchester City are 14 points behind Liverpool, who are the table-toppers, while Leicester remain second by a point with City in third.

Noteworthy, Liverpool crushed Leicester with four unanswered goals on Thursday's clash to maintain their unbeaten start to this season.
