Kaizer Chiefs have held a genuine interest in Young African Congolese striker Fiston Mayele for some time, but he’s reportedly on his way to Egyptian Premier League side Pyramids. That’s according to Lorenz Kohler of iDiski Times. Mayelele was prolific for treble-winners Yanga last term, bagging 14 goals across 18 appearances in CAF Continental competitions.
Speaking of strikers, Chiefs have accepted a bid for out-of-favour Caleb Bimenyimana from Wydad Casablanca. That coupled with the news that Mayele is seemingly out of reach, could mean the Glamour Boys dip into the market once more.
