Popular street medic and first aid provider Ahmed Al-Fedawy asserted that rapid relief techniques are very important and must be done correctly according to some standards set by experts.
Speaking to Sada Elbald English, Al-Fedawy said that the idea behind "street medic" is that we want to educate citizens about how to help persons in need of urgent medical assistance and be ready for any situation that may occur.
Al-Fedawi, who is serving as a nurse at Kasr Al-Ainy Hospital, explained how to aid any person, especially footballers who may swallow their tongues during matches.
According to Al-Fedawi, a footballer's forehead must be turned back and his chin must be up, and thus the cervical vertebrae will return back to take its normal position to open up the airway passage.
He continued that if he cannot respond, then the first aid provider must undergo immediate life-saving resuscitation of the heart by pressing his two hands on the heart area strongly, which is a necessary process to pump blood to the brain again.
