Egyptian beloved couple Youssef El Sherif and Engy Alaa left many shocked after announcing Tuesday they were going their separate way after 14 years of marriage.
They got married in 2009 and collaborated on several TV series including "Zay El Ward", "Rakam Maghol", "Ism Moaqat", "Leaabet Eblis", "Al Sayeed", "Caesar", "Kafr Delhab", "The End", and “Covid-25”.
The announcement left many puzzled as there was no hint of the decision and left others wondering about the future of their upcoming TV series "The Raccoon".
The series was witnessing El Sherif's finally making his long-awaited return to the Ramadan drama marathon after three years of absence.
The series is written by Alaa, directed by Mohamed El-Adl, and produced by Synergy.
Sources close to the project stated the series is set to participate in the Ramadan drama marathon.
They also noted the decision of participation is decided by the producing side, which will be announced in the coming days.
