Wednesday Marks 1st day of Eid Al Fitr: Egypt's Dar Al-Ifta

Egypt's Dar Al-Iftaa announced on Monday that Wednesday , June 5, 2019 will mark the first day of Eid Al Fitr in Egypt.

"Tuesday will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, thus Wednesday will mark the first day of Eid Al Fitr," Egypt's Mufti Shawki Allam announced in a statement.

Wednesday also marks the first day of Eid Al Fitr in other states such as Palestine, Jordan, and Syria.

On the other hand, states like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iraq's Kurdistan, Qatar and Bahrain announced that Monday will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, and Tuesday, June 4, 2019 will be the first day of the Eid.
