Mery stressed that content that supports homosexuality is being presented, and that is imposed on the audience.

He added that Western countries and the U.S. launched a war against Egypt and the Arab countries, to impose the issue of homosexuality, despite the fact that it is a moral, social and religious crime.

The presenter noted that Western countries are trying to export what corrupts morals, values, society, religion and traditions, affirming that what Disney is doing is extremely dangerous "because it targets our children, which puts Egypt's wealth and future in danger."

In the same vein, Safaa Nawar, Akhbar Al-Youm's columnist and Sada El-Balad Universities Editor-in-Chief, wondered " Have the officials, heard about the Disney plan, and what are you doing?"

In her column "Just a Question", Nawar said "There is no single channel for children that broadcasts our traditional programs, story tales of Abla Fadela and Baba Sharo, and programs presented by our artists who excelled in dealing with children."

"Our children are a red line and national security, Are not they?" Nawar concluded her Wednesday's column.
