Warmer Weather Are in Egypt on Friday, Cairo 35°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather will prevail in most of the country during Friday's daylight hours.

Extremely hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

The weather will seem hotter due to the high humidity levels, which will push up the heat index by 2-4 degrees.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo,  North Upper Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, Lower Egypt, and Central Sinai.

Wind will occur occasionally across the country.

Meteorologists also predict that the country will experience a slight temperature rise.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning moderate in the early hours.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 35°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Marsa Matruh, 37°C in Sohag, 37°C in Qena, and 39°C in Aswan.
