Egyptian band Wama teased Wednesday fans with a new mysterious project for the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.

The quadruplet is holding meetings with top-notch poets, composers, and distributors in the coming period to settle on new music to be released sometime later in the year.

Wama dropped their last single "30 Youm" (30 Days) in June 2022, in celebration of the 9th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution.

It is by the lyrics of Ahmed Hassan Raul and composed by Adham Dehema.

Wama was founded in 1998 by Ahmed Fahmi and Mohamed Nour; it also includes Mohamed Nour and Nader Hamdy.

The band first appeared in 2003. They presented numerous successful albums and songs, including “Ya Leil” (2003), “Ghalya Alaya” (2005), “Rayha Gaya” (2010), and “Kan Yamakan” (2015).

All of the band members managed to benefit from their success and were able to find their own space in entertainment and work independently in different artistic sectors, such as acting and composing, without affecting the band.

Wama released their latest album, “El Seif Ebtada” in 2019.

The album consisted of 10 songs. In the album, the band collaborated with a large number of poets and composers including Ayman Bahgat Amar, Amir Teima, Nader Abdullah, Mohamed Atef, Jamal Al-Khouli, Ahmed Al-Maliki, Tamer Hussein, Khaled Ezz, Rami Jamal, Tamer Ashour, Ahmed Salah Hosny, and Madih.
