Video Shows Elderly Man Paddling Kayaks through Oman Streets

Social media boggers in Oman released this week a video of an elderly man paddling kayaks through the streets of the town.

The video footage that went viral in the Arab world showed Omani golden-ager taking a kayak to reach the downtown stores because the streets were submerged in water.

The old man might paddle upstream past a smattering of homes to nothing but houses on either side.

It's worth mentioning that hundreds of homes in Oman have lost power because of the flooding, and the Environment Agency has issued severe flood warnings for much of the southwest territory, according to domestic media.

The flooding started on Sunday, but it's not over yet — two or three more storms of Shaheen are expected to hit Oman this weekend, domestic media reported.
