The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh announced that the State Department has instructed non-essential employees and their families to depart Saudi Arabia immediately, citing what it described as "heightened security risks."

According to the embassy's statement, the decision is part of the U.S. government's commitment to the safety of its staff and their families. It also urged American citizens in the Kingdom to exercise caution and stay informed of official security warnings.

This warning comes at a time of escalating regional tensions, which has prompted the U.S. State Department to review security protocols and take precautionary measures to ensure the protection of its diplomatic mission members in the Kingdom.
