US Director of US National Intelligence Avril Haines said that Western sanctions against Russia do not affect its economy. And Haines stressed that such sanctions would have had a greater impact if imposed on China, given its great integration into the global economy.

She added that in view of the sanctions, there is a difference in their impact according to the target party because if these sanctions are imposed on China, it is likely that their impact will be significant due to its deep integration into the global economy.

Earlier, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, Zhang Jun, accused the United States of undermining the development of a number of countries due to sanctions.

Also, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Cros also accused the United States of intentionally offering inducements to European companies to move to its territory, as the United States pledged to provide support to European companies in accordance with the new American law to reduce inflation, knowing that this has a negative impact on the European economy.
