US Elections 2020: Trump, Biden Claim Victory

US President Donald Trump thanked the American people on Wednesday for voting in the US Elections and said he will not be silent towards some attempts to hijack the elections.

The US president added during a speech at the White House, "Tonight's results are wonderful and impressive, and we are preparing to celebrate.”

“We have won unpredicted states,” he said.

Trump is competing in the US elections for the Republican Party, hoping to win a second presidential term, while Joe Biden, former US Vice President Barack Obama, represents the Democratic Party in that election.

On his part, Biden confirmed his confidence in his ability to win, while his opponent.

In a speech to his supporters, Biden said: "We are on the right track to win the elections... I will not announce the election results, but I am optimistic about the final result... We feel confident in winning."

Biden expressed his hope to win the states of Michigan and Pennsylvania, saying, "I am confident that the campaign won in Arizona, and I feel satisfied with Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania."
