Director General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Filippo Grandi, praised efforts made by Egypt to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip.
He described the situation in Gaza as "extremely difficult", explaining that the past 100 days have felt like 100 years for the people of Gaza.
This came during a meeting with North Sinai Governor Mohamed Abdel Fadil Shousha with Lazzarini, at Al-Arish International Airport.
For his part, Governor of North Sinai reviewed the efforts made by Egypt in receiving relief, humanitarian and food aid, medicines and medical supplies and delivering them to Gaza Strip through Rafah crossing border in North Sinai.
