Experts said that the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) reviews a comprehensive report submitted by Egypt on the internal affairs.
The experts affirmed that the report may represent an opportunity to improve human right issues in the country over the period to come.
They pointed out that there is a political will to achieve more progress in the file of human rights at all level such as social, political and economic rights.

Atef Saadawy, a journalist of Al Ahram daily, directed that forum.
Dr. Noha Abu Bakr, Profesor of Political Science in the American University (AU) in Cairo, assured that Egypt has achieved significant progress in empowering women and youth.
She pointed out that eight female ministers are serving in the incumbent government in Egypt.
They represent a quarter of the total number of ministers of the Cabinet.
Also the president’s adviser for the national security is a woman.
It is worth mentioning that Egypt has criminalized genital mutilation of girls since 12 years.
Dr. Bakr went on to say that the House of Representatives (HoR) comprises 59 youth.
There 41 minister- assistant of youth along with launching the forum of the world youth which has interests in supporting political participation by the youth.
She revealed that enacting law of building and fixing churches proves the political will to maintain tolerance and secure religious freedoms to all denominations in Egypt.

To secure the health, social and economic rights, the Egyptian government has launched a number of campaigns to examine citizens to spot Hepatitis C Virus, relocating slums and enacting law of whole health insurance.
Dr. Bakr affirmed that Egypt hosts 5 million refugees and assimilates them.
Those refugees come from 55 countries around the world.
She praised Egypt for putting an end the illegal migration from her coasts to the European side of the Mediterranean Sea.
No ship boarding illegal migrants has left the Egyptian shores since 2016.
Police personnel have received proper training to deal with the illegal migration.
On the other hand, Ayda Nour El Din, Chairwoman of Society of Woman and Development, called for the formation of a commission to fight discrimination along with enacting a law to protect women from violence.
She recommended equipment white collar workers on how to deal with people with special needs.
Dr. Salah Sallam, member of the National Council of Human Rights in Egypt, said that security and human rights are two faces of a coin.
