Dr. Murad Gatin, director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, will inaugurate Thursday evening a plastic art exhibition entitled "Under the Same Sun: Russia-Egypt".
The event is held at 6:00 PM at the headquarters of the Russian Cultural Center in Dokki.
The exhibition showcases artwork about Egypt by a group of Russian and Egyptian artists.
The Russian artists had begun their trip to Egypt by visiting Alexandria.
For two weeks, they toured most of the city's neighborhoods, accompanied by Dr. Maliha Shoaib, supervisor of plastic arts at the Russian House in Alexandria.
They painted many scenes of Alexandria that reflect the unique architectural style, history of the city, and natural monuments, beaches, cafes, and popular neighborhoods.
This is the second exhibition of Russian artists after their first exhibition, which was inaugurated by Pavel Kidisuk, director of the Russian House in Alexandria.
It comes within the framework of the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Egypt.
