The United Nations has expressed concern over the dangers faced by humanitarian workers in Gaza. They are urging Israel to improve coordination with aid groups, allow the U.N. to use necessary security equipment, and facilitate aid deliveries by the Israeli military.
U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric emphasized the intolerable risks faced by humanitarian operations in Gaza, stating that they are increasingly challenging.
He highlighted the daily assessment of the situation to ensure safe operations for staff and aid recipients.
Meanwhile, Israel's Deputy U.N. Ambassador, Jonathan Miller, reported that over 36,000 aid trucks carrying more than 682,180 tons of aid, including food, water, shelter equipment, medical supplies, and fuel, have entered Gaza during the eight-month conflict.
