The United Nations General Assembly adopted two important resolutions on a ceasefire in Gaza and support for UNRWA.
The two resolutions were as follows:
The first resolution calls for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza respected by all parties, and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.
The second resolution affirmed its full support for the mandate of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in all its fields of work, namely Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territory.
