The UK government has announced an additional £450 million in military aid for Ukraine.
Of this amount, £350 million will come directly from the UK, with the remaining support provided by Norway through the UK-led International Fund for Ukraine.
The UK's Ministry of Defense stated that the new military assistance package will be delivered by suppliers in both the UK and Ukraine to strengthen the Ukrainian armed forces.
The package includes £160 million for the repair of military vehicles previously supplied by the UK, and £250 million allocated for new radar systems, anti-tank mines, and hundreds of thousands of drones.
Further details on this support will be unveiled during the "Ukraine Defense Contact Group" meeting, co-chaired by UK Defence Secretary John Healey and German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius in Brussels today.
This increase in military support follows the UK's continued commitment to assisting Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.
