On Friday, Italy thrashed France 3-1 in a highly anticipated game in the first round of the UEFA Nations League tournament.
During the game, France needed only 12 seconds to hit the nets of the La Squadra Azzura. The goal was scored by Bradley Barcola.
In less than 30 minutes, the Italians levelled up and hit the equalizer through Federico Dimarco who received a deft backheel pass from Sandro Tonali.
Five minutes later, Davide Frattesi put Italy ahead, and Giacomo Raspadori gave the guests the breathing space they needed in the 74th minute.
Italy Manager Luciano Spalletti said: “Magnificent game. We were afraid that he [Tonali] wouldn’t make it to play 90 minutes, but in the end he gave two good bursts. We found a very strong player again."
