The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that recent Iranian attacks resulted in three fatalities and 68 minor injuries, while affirming the country’s readiness to defend its territory against any threats.

The ministry’s spokesperson stressed that the UAE “will not accept any violation of its security or territorial integrity,” adding that the country possesses sufficient strategic reserves and capabilities to confront the attacks.

Air defense systems successfully engaged hostile targets, significantly reducing potential damage, the spokesperson said.

According to the ministry, UAE forces intercepted 172 ballistic missiles out of 186 launched toward the country, while 13 missiles fell into the sea. Air defenses also destroyed eight Iranian cruise missiles.

In addition, authorities detected 812 Iranian drones and successfully intercepted 755 of them.

In a related development, the Fujairah Media Office reported that emergency teams dealt with a fire that broke out in the petroleum industrial zone earlier in the day. The incident was caused by debris from a successfully intercepted drone, and no injuries were reported.

Earlier Tuesday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country operates integrated, multi-layered air defense systems capable of countering a wide range of aerial threats with high efficiency, providing comprehensive protection for national airspace.
