The female-led TV Series “Ella Ana” (Except me) has been renewed for a third season.
The series is revolving around short stories inspired by real-life events that tackle women’s issues from unique perspectives.
It shed light on topics that were never presented before such as Jamila Awad’s story “Lazim Aeesh” (I must live), featured in the first season.
The plot discussed vitiligo and how to coexist with it for the first time in an Egyptian drama.
The series also recently raised in its second season an important topic such as the challenges people with autism face in Mayan El Sayed‘s story “Helm Hayaty” (The Dream of My Life).
“Ella Ana” season 2 presented a story about the Egyptian Female Olympic champions in “Toklaha Dahab”.
