On Friday, the Turkish Super Cup final between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce that set to be organized in Riyadh, KSA, was postponed over some issues with the organizers.
According to media reports, the organizers opposed the idea of allowing the Turkish teams to wear t-shirts featuring the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, during the warm up.
The match came during Turkey's celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the modern Turkish Republic.
The two clubs and the Turkish federation said: "The 2023 Super Cup ... has been postponed to a later date as a result of a joint decision we made with our clubs, due to some problems in its organization."
