Tunisia Stresses Firm Stance Backing Palestinian Cause

Tunisian President Kais Saied, on Monday, affirmed his country's firm position in support of the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on all of the land of Palestine, with Holy Jerusalem as its capital.

This came during Saied's meeting with Cginese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, at Carthage Palace.

In addition,Tunisian President stressed the strength of the historical friendship ties with China, as well as the distinction of cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries. 

Furthermore, he praised the common will of the leaderships in both countries to raise the level of relations in a way that serves the interests of the friendly peoples.

Moreover, Tunisian president expressed his country's aspiration to establish promising partnerships and new cooperation programs with China in several sectors, including health, sports, agriculture, infrastructure, and renewable energy.

It is worth mentioning that, Tunisia and China are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
