Israeli officials announced on Saturday that Steve Witkoff, U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, has postponed his visit to Israel, which was originally scheduled for next Wednesday, to a later date.
According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, officials stated that Witkoff is now expected to visit Israel later this week instead of Wednesday, as initially planned.
The delay is reportedly due to Witkoff's expected attendance at President Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday night. This marks the second time his visit has been postponed, as he was originally scheduled to arrive in Israel last week.
