US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the ongoing negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to resolve the conflict are continuing and going well.
Trump told reporters at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, “Talks about Ukraine and Russia are going very well. We continue to talk.”
When asked whether he planned to speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky or Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump did not answer, simply saying about the fighting, “I would like to see it stop.”
