U.S. President Donald Trump said he believes the parties are “close to reaching an agreement soon regarding Gaza,” signaling possible movement toward ending the ongoing conflict.

“There is a great deal of goodwill being shown now toward the Gaza agreement, and this is a wonderful development,” Trump said.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told U.S. media that the Gaza war “must come to an end,” expressing hope that such an outcome could be achieved soon “with the support of President Trump.”

The remarks from both leaders come amid intensified diplomatic efforts to reach a ceasefire and lay the groundwork for a broader political settlement, following months of devastating violence in the Gaza Strip.

Trump, who has been involved in renewed mediation efforts, has recently expressed optimism that his proposed framework could lead to a sustainable truce, though details of the talks remain undisclosed.
