A train with US military equipment derailed in Greece but restoration work started, APA reported citing West Observer on Saturday.
Near the port of Alexandroupolis in northern Greece, a train loaded with military equipment from the US Army derailed, according to RIA Novosti.
The incident took place on the morning of December 2 after American tanks and armored vehicles were unloaded at the port and the train began moving towards the NATO border.
Greek media pointed out that the accident occurred due to overloading, adding that technical crews used cranes to return the composition to the rails.
