The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry organized on Wednesday a training program for a number of the staff of the Coptic Museum in conjunction with the resumption of the tourist movement to Egypt.

The training program comes as a part of the ministry's plan to improve the skills of the tourism and antiquities sector's staff and raise their awareness about how to deal with the tourists, a matter which contributes to improving the quality of services offered to the tourists.

Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Adviser for Training Soha Baghat said the training course includes ways of dealing with the visitors in terms of the precautionary measures taken against the coronavirus.

Titled 'Creating Ambassadors', the training course is funded by the Bank of Alexandria and implemented by Rythm, a hospitality training agency, Baghat noted, pointing out that this training is the first of its kind offered to the staff who are working at the museums and archaeological sites here.

By the end of the course, the trainees will get certificates accredited by the Institute of Hospitality in London. The course will be generalized at the remaining museums and archaeological sites.
