A documentary narrating the history of Giza Pyramids by acclaimed Egyptologist Zahi Hawass, and the American Oscar-winning artist, Kevin Costner, has been at the forefront of improving the tourist experience in the historic site, said Amr Jazarin, a tourism expert and the executive chairman of Orascom Pyramids.
Speaking to the media, Jazarin said: “Today, the tourists who are on a brief visit to the Giza Pyramids area will be delighted by the documentary and the marvellous painted murals, which narrate the history of the region and recount the stories of kings.”
He also outlined the timeline of key development work, saying: “At least 10% of construction work in the historic site remains to be done, which includes a service area that provides shops selling drinks and souvenirs, in addition to a medical centre that is expected to be completed next month.”
