The Tigray People's Liberation Front announced today, Tuesday, that it completely destructed the 21st mechanised pision of the Ethiopian Army, according to media reports.
The Security Council is scheduled to hold its first meeting on Tuesday on the ongoing conflict in the Ethiopian Tigray region, at a request of three countries: Tunisia, South Africa, and "Saint Vincent and the Grenadines".
Two weeks ago, the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, launched military operations after the Tigrayan Liberation Front, which runs the region, was accused of attacking an army camp.
