Egyptian citizens and political delegations have just set off from Cairo heading to the Rafah crossing, to participate in a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people and reject the displacement plans and liquidation of the Palestinian cause.
The delegations include a large number of members of the parliament and the Senate, as well as a large number of citizens, who strongly reject the calls for the displacement of the Palestinian people, affirming their support for the position of the political leadership.
The Egyptian state has repeatedly announced that the solution to the Palestinian issue is the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, across the June 1967 borders.
In the early hours of Friday morning, other Governorates also witnessed the movement of dozens of citizens, raising the flags of Egypt and Palestine, heading to the Rafah crossing to support the political leadership and support the Palestinian cause and reject displacement.
Political parties and popular movements also participated in mobilizing their supporters heading from the several villages and cities to the city of Rafah in North Sinai Governorate.
Citizens were keen to take their children and families with them, amidst the participation of a group of popular and political leaders to support President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's stance and reject the displacement scenario and plan.
