Egypt-Russia’s Graduates Association Supports Syria's Return to AL

The Syrian Ambassador to Egypt H.E. Bassam Darwish received a delegation from Egypt’s Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities headed by the Chief of the association Sherif Gad.

In his address, Gad expressed his association's support for the Syrian social organizations against the "unjust terrorist war" in afflicted Syria, stressing that Egypt and Syria have deep historical and human relations.

Also in this regard, Gad welcomed the Syrian citizens and students in Egypt to participate in the activities of the Russian Cultural Center in Cairo and Alexandria.

Gad also commended the overwhelming success of the Syrian youth in the Egyptian market, in which they became a source of confidence for the Egyptians.

Meanwhile, Dr. Magdy Zaabal talked about the glorious October 6 epic, in which the Egyptian and the Syrian armies launched a joint surprise attack on Israeli positions on the southern and eastern fronts, showing their victor willing.

Moreover, Dr. Ayamn Mountser affirmed his absolute support for the Syrian people in the face of their enemies.

On his part, the Syrian ambassador in Cairo welcomed the Egyptian delegation’s move towards the file of Syria's return to the Arab League (AL) and praised their generous initiative, which is cited as an expression of support and solidarity from the Egyptians to the people of Syria.
