It contains 52 antiquities that used to be preserved in the archives of the Egyptian Museum, according to Moamen Othman, the Director of the Museums Sector.
The displayed collection includes glass works, one of them depicts Bawit Mural, the plan of the ground floor of the museum, and the old display scenario of the previously-used hall for Coptic antiquities, according to Ali Abdel Halim, the director manager of the museum.
Rare and unique Coptic textiles, three gold coins, a coffin for a child from pottery, and three manuscripts from papyrus are among the displayed pieces, alongside, writings from Nubian, Coptic writings on leather, and a collection of icons for a number of saints.
He added that the guests and members of the St. Mark International Conference toured the exhibition, and they praised it and were impressed by the exhibits.
