The highly-anticipated sequel to Warner Bros.’s “The Batman” will begin filming later this year.

Michael Uslan, who was an executive producer in the 2022 noir mystery, announced that production for "The Batman: Part II" is set to begin on November 23.

An October 3, 2025 release date has already been set for the upcoming project, which will see Matt Reeves returning as director and Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

"The Batman" was released in March 2021 and met with tremendous praise and success.

In April, Warner Bros. announced a sequel was in development, which will see Matt Reeves returning as director and Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

Reeves signed a deal with DC Studios and is planning on creating a separate universe for his future projects, referred to as “The Batverse".

This will allow more Batman movies and spinoffs to operate independently of the cinematic universe that Gunn and Safran are planning on forming.
