On Wednesday, Thai Constitutional Court dismissed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.
The reason for this decision is Thavisin's appointment to the cabinet a former lawyer who served jail time.
The latest verdict is a shock for the country that has various political issues.
Thavisin becomes the fourth Thai premier in 16 years to be removed by verdicts by the same court as he violated the constitution by appointing a minister who did not meet ethical standards.
The verdict came a week after the court disbanded the country’s Move Forward Party, which won the majority of the seats in last year’s election, and banned its leaders from politics for 10 years.
