A Syrian traveler named Adnan Azzam spent ten months on horseback as he covered 6000 km from Damascus to Moscow.

He passed by the states of Iraq, Jordan, Iran, and Azerbaijan up to Russian territories.

The Syrian traveler said that the motive of this prolonged journey is to acknowledge the role by the states that supported his country in its war on terrorism.

He added that he also sought to strengthen the friendly ties between Syria and those states along with bolstering the culture of dialog against extremism and takfiri thoughts.

He sat with a reporter of Sputnik, a Russian news agency, and told him that he has worked on a plan called “Syria-the world” for 40 years.

He read orientalism at university to know how the West took over the Arab and Islamic East.

He further said that a part of the civil war in Syria linked to media and misinformation.

He revealed that he produced a short film on the civil war to document the events of the conflict.

He translated that movie into Persian, French and Russian languages and he showed it in many European cities.

The film was introduced to 50 French cities, Geneva in Switzerland and Brussels, the capital city of Belgium.

It made the French people more sympathizer with the Syrian people during the agony of the civil war.

Some Europeans wept when they watched the film because they were misled by the media outlets.

They have regretted their hostile stances against Syria during those dire days.

More than a thousand channels promulgated fake news about Syria to form a hostile public opinion against Syria to topple the ruling system there.

He thought to thank the Iraqi, Iranian and Russian peoples for supporting Syria in its war on terrorism.

He chose an Arab horse to carry out that tiresome journey as the horse is the symbol of dignity and pride.
