Syria: U.S. Sets up New Military Base in Hasakah Countryside

The Syrian New Agency "SANA" reported on Thursday that the American forces began establishing a new base in the Al-Yaarubiya region in the eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah.

The agency quoted local sources as saying that logistical materials and military equipment were brought to the base.

SANA explained that the American forces had brought 10 troop carriers to the city of Al-Malikiyah in the far northeast of Al-Hasakah, in preparation for their transfer to the countryside of Al-Yaarubiyah, adjacent to the Iraqi border, where they began to establish a new military base near Tal Alo.

The agency added that those forces "brought in road processing machines and modified and brushed asphalt near the Tal Alo, close to the Kharab al-Jir base from which the American occupation forces use their helicopters" and said that this was with the aim of "strengthening their illegal presence on the Syrian island in line with their plans to achieve theft of Syria’s oil, underground Resources and Major Crops

"Over the past few months, U.S. forces have brought in thousands of trucks loaded with weapons and military and logistical equipment to Al-Hasakah to steal oil and wealth of the country," SANA concluded.
