Syria, Abkhazia Discuss Ways to Develop Bilateral Co-op

Syrian Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun, discussed with Abkhazia Ambassador in Damascus, Muhammad Jalalovich Ali, ways to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting on Sunday, the Syrian Minister of the Interior stressed the importance of strengthening and developing the relations between both friendly countries, especially in the field of combating terrorism, praising the position of Abkhazia in supporting Syria in its war against terrorism.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia stressed his country's keenness to strengthen cooperation relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and Syria, in a way that serves the interests of both countries.
